The 200 club is looking for new members to replace those lost during the
past year. Warmington Church 200 Club was formed in 1993 to raise money to help the Parochial Church Council meet its financial commitments. Half of the total income is paid out in prizes, the other
half given to the P.C.C.
By the end of the sixteenth year, in January 2009, the club had paid a total of
£36,015 to the P.C.C. with the same sum paid out in prizes.
The monthly draw currently pays prizes of £50, £25, £20, £15 and two of £10. A summer draw pays prizes of £250, £150 and £70. There is a further big draw at Christmas
with prizes which depend on the amount of money available. The Christmas prizes
are usually around £100, £75 and £50. The names of the winners are posted in the Post Office window and published in Five All.
Anyone wishing to join the 200 club should contact Bill Peck on 01832 280 574.
The annual subscription is £24 payable in February.
