Our Trustees TrusteesWarmington Playgroup is a non-profit making registered charity and as such is a self-supporting organisation run by a group of Trustees elected annually from parents and carers. The Playgroup Trustees hold regular meetings throughout the year to discuss Playgroup Policy, staffing, finance and fundraising. Parents and carers are actively invited to express their views or make suggestions to Trustees, or to consider becoming Trustees themselves. Please talk to a member of staff if you require more information on this. FundraisingOur fees cover running expenses only and we rely on parents/carers/family and friends to join in our fundraising ventures as these raise the extra money we need to buy new toys and equipment. These events are a lot of fun and offer social opportunities for all those involved to get to know each other better. Pre-school Learning AllianceWe follow the guidelines of the Pre-school Learning Alliance (PLA), an organisation which sets and maintains standards of childcare in playgroups across the country. We also get help and advice from the Early Years and Childcare Service. ConstitutionWarmington
Playgroup’s Constitution is the standard provided by the PLA. It is submitted to

Can you help?Could you join the Playgroup Trustees and help manage the Playgroup and be part of the decision making? The Playgroup cannot exist constitutionally or practically without a group of parents/carers who take on this responsibility and play an active part each year. Warmington Playgroup would like to thank Oundle Accountants BulleyDavey for their on-going support for our work. |
